BIG in Milan

For the presentation of the current monographic issue Being BIG Abitare magazine invited Bjarke Ingels and some other BIGgsters to Milan. I was invited among the guests at the cocktail at 6.30 pm in a showroom in Foro Buonaparte were Abitare Director Mario Piazza introduced the magazine upon arrival of Bjarke Ingels from London. He mentioned that having issued a couple of monographic issues of the same kind in the past about Renzo Piano, Norman Foster and Zaha Hadid, it was time to introduce a new generation of world architects. So, after 6 months shadowing BIG the issue is now in the bookstores.  Waiting for the other BIGsters Bjarke gave a short speech and spread out some good mood. As you can see the atmosphere got soon very relaxed and informal.

Probably the atmosphere became even better and better later on, as the program was Bjarke Ingels to have a lecture in the Tunnel club (under the main train station tracks) and end up with a dj set.
