A Quick Therapy with Roman Polanski
The end of the year and the end of the world are rapidly approaching, everyone has to get ready! No wonder that the next couple of weeks are going to be a hectic time for most of us. So why not take a break, only three minutes, enjoying this peculiar video, produced by Prada, written and directed by Roman Polanski, featuring Helena Bonham Carter and Ben Kingsley. Not a masterpiece for sure, just a quick therapy.
I don’t know Prada as a fashion brand, it’s not my world, but I am often surprised about the way they communicate. This picture shows how the winter season’s shopwindow look like: mannequins in front of an aged blown up architectural perspective: aren’t they the famous (and ominous) modernist perspective by Ludwig Hilbersheimer?
For those who are more interested in glamour and fashion, below a real Prada advertising video. I know it is not really in line with the editorial policy of this blog, it is not politically correct and not even up to date (its was the SS12 campaign) but I like it very much.
